The relationships between producers/importers and ECOPACK BULGARIA are regulated by a contract. ECOPACK BULGARIA undertakes to achieve the targets of recovery and recycling laid down in the legislation of packaging waste formed as a result of the products being placed by the producer/importer on the market in the Republic of Bulgaria.

ECOPACK BULGARIA does not distribute profit.

The amount of the remuneration covers only the costs of the company in connection with organization, administration and reporting of the collection, recovery and recycling of the packaging waste, implementation of information and communication campaigns to promote responsible attitude towards separate collection and recycling.

The payment of the remuneration to ECOPACK BULGARIA is made as follows:

For clients reporting on annual basis over 10 tons packaging, the sum of the recovery fee for the particular packaging materials is calculated based on the amount of packaging placed on the market during the respective month. 

Tariff for determining the unit amount of the recovery fee 

One-time annual recovery fee: For clients reporting on annual basis less than 10 tons packaging the annual contribution is calculated as the estimated quantities of packaging materials are multiplied by the rates in the table above. The minimum amount paid by a company is 77 Euro (150 BGN).
