Latvijas Zalais punkts is joint-stock company and  is based on a non profit principle, as the founders of the company are the members of the packaging industry, who's main interest is to fulfil the requirements of the law - to reach the recovery targets as efficient and cost effective as possible. 
Latvijas Zalais punkts has three contracts with the Ministry of Environment certifying that company can work in the following areas: management of the waste of packaging and disposable tableware and accessories; management of the goods harmful to the environment and management of the waste electric and electronic equipment.
Our system comprises the whole territory of the Republic of Latvia, we have contracts with all the major waste management companies for the collection and handling of the packaging waste as well as the recycling companies in Latvia and other countries for the recycling of the packaging waste.
