The Packaging Waste Act 32 (I) 2002 was enacted on 12 April 2002 with the main aim to prevent and decrease the negative effects on the environment from packaging. Also the Law is expected to provide the right incentives to the industry to establish the necessary infrastructure to prevent, reuse, recycle or recover packaging.
